How to Say Thank You

With gifts, of course! Mr. P and I decided that we would spend a max of $50 on each wedding party member. A pretty modest amount, but I knew I wanted to make the most of it!

I started my gift search thinking I was going to buy each girl something different since they're all so unique. However, I ended up getting them the same gifts, but still fitting each of their personalities.

I started by picking out reusable bags in each of their favorite colors to hold all of their gifts.

I found these at Garden Ridge for $1 each!

And now, what to fill them with? I made each girl a bridesmaid emergency kit. I found the make-up bags at Nordstrom Rack for $11 each. I also tried to chose these based on color preferences of each girl. I also liked that these bags were made from recycled materials.

Here's what I included inside:
-mini deodorant
-hand lotion
-bobby pins
-chapstick
-bandaids
-nail file
-Advil
-Colgate Wisps
-Shout Wipes
-socks (this one will make more sense in a minute)

This stuff all cost about $10 a person.

I wanted my ladies to be comfortable while they're shakin' it on the dance floor with me. I didn't want to just give them sandals, since I'm planning to provide those for the guests. And if you remember I plan on changing into some sweet Chucks for the reception. So why not get the girls their own pair of Chucks too? And thanks to Marshalls, at $25 a pair, they made my dream possible.

Cute, right? I know I'm short one pair. I'm still looking for the perfect pair for BM Ashley.

And then I decided to throw in a "just cause" present. I showed you my special hanger that my dress will hang from on my wedding day in my boudoir shoot.

I decided to make each of the girls a hanger to hang their bridesmaid dress from that day too. (Tutorial in a future post.)

I got the hangers in the bargain bin at JoAnns for $1 each and I used paint I already own. I love how easy these were and how awesome they turned out. I hope my girls like them too!

Then, for my two MOHs, I decided I wanted to get them each one additional gift. My sister has a thing for water bottles and having one on her at all times so I decided to get her a reusable aluminum bottle. And it has an angry monkey on it. Grr! (How could I resist it?)

For my other MOH, I decided to take her love of chickens and turn it in to an apron.

I can't wait until the rehearsal dinner so I can give my girls their gifts!

How'd you decide what to buy your ladies? Did you get them all the same thing, or individual gifts?
